Manchester United
Till date, they have won 18 major titles which no other premier league Club has won. Manchester United has been the Premier League’s undisputed champions as they have won the Premier league and the Football League as many as 16 times. They were also the first English Club to win the European Cup way back in 1968, and also won it the second time in 1999. Manchester United holds the record for 11 FA Cup titles as well.

Manchester United has been one of the richest Clubs since late nineties and continued to have the maximum revenue for any football club, until recently. As of the current statistics of 2007, Manchester United remains the highest profitable club on the basis of operating income and the 4th largest turnover as far as Football clubs are concerned. The club is also a member of the G-14 group of Europe’s leading football clubs. The Club’s manager has been Sir Alex Ferguson who has been managing the reigns since 1986. The captain of the club is Gary Neville, who replaced Roy Keane in November 2005.

Most of the people feel Liverpool as the biggest rival to Manchester United, as they have a decent success ratio as well and are close to each other as well. Few consider Manchester City as their biggest rival as well. The competition with Liverpool is quite ancient as well, since 1960s when both the clubs were competing for being the strongest club in England.

Since then, they have been fighting to keep each other at toes by coming back strongly in every next season. Everton, Leeds United and even Arsenal are few of the other rivals of Manchester United.
