One of the most professional Football club based in Manchester, England, are currently the members of the English Premier League. Manchester City Football Club was founded in 188o as St. Marks which later became as Ardwick A.F.C in 1887 and finally they changed their name to Manchester City Football Club in 1894. As far as the credentials for the club go, it has won the League Championship a couple of times, four times the FA Cup, twice league cup, and once it has been the winner of the European club as well. Manchester City Football Club has been most successful during late 1960s and early 1970s when they won many major titles, when Joe Mercer was the manager of the team with great players like Colin Bell and Francis Lee supporting them.

Manchester City Football Club hasn’t been lucky after 1976, after which it hasn’t won any major titles off late. The decline of the club’s performance had let to its relegation two times within three years during the 1990s, but the club has fought back and has re gained the Premier League Status putting Manchester City Football Club back in the top hunt where they have spent most of their time in their football history.

Manchester City Football Club’s kits and jerseys home colors have been sky blue and white, while their traditional away colors for their jerseys have been either maroon or red and black. However, of late, they have been experimenting too much with their colors as in the 2004-05 season, they had worn a white shirt with purple shorts and white socks while wearing all navy blue in the next season in the away games. They have also sported an all black kits during the 2006-07 season.

Off late, they have been using white stripes on their home as well as away shirts. And he way kits is pre dominantly purple in color. Besides these hey have another kit as well which has white shirt with a sky blue flash over the badge of the club and blue shorts with white socks. The latest crest of the club is based on the arms of the city of Manchester and contains a shield in front of the Golden Eagle
